Exodus 15:22-27 After the great victory God gave His people in the Red Sea, they wandered in the wilderness for three days in search of water.  This helps us know that after a great deliverance there might be hardship for a while but provision will certainly come. The water at Marah was provision. It was a blessing but because of its taste, no one saw that it was a blessing. Even in the midst of provision you can still complain because you cannot see. By the instruction of the Lord, Marah becomes sweet. The Lord is always ready to help if you ask for His help. You have to pray to hear His instructions. Even when you abandon Him chasing after things that should be second place, He just hangs in there without complaining – Who wouldn’t love a friend who does not complain? There’s no one like Him. He is there to hear you sulk, His shoulder is always available for you to cry on, He is one person you will never be afraid to tell your wrongs, even though He convicts you of sin you still feel peace telling Him what you have done John 16:7-14. He won’t shut the door of His heart against you when you come to Him in brokenness He lets you know everything will be fine. The Holy Spirit is priceless. He quietly waits for you to come around. He waits really, you will never find another so patient. He speaks to your heart once a while when you decide to chase other things instead.  This kind of faithfulne...

There will come a time in your life when you’d be alone, there would be no one in sight. All those you thought had your interest in mind will turn their backs against you. You will contemplate many things suicide being the chief of them all. Depression will set in; day will be as night, you lose yourself, you weep every now and then and there’ll be some days when you’ll think you’re okay but suddenly those tears come rushing out… You want the world to end. You want to die but I’ve come to show you that friend that sticks closer than your very soul. The friend that loves you more than you love yourself... His name is the Holy Spirit.
