Marah Becomes Sweet
Exodus 15:22-27
After the great victory God gave His people in the Red Sea, they wandered in the wilderness for three days in search of water.
This helps us know that after a great deliverance there might be hardship for a while but provision will certainly come. This provision however may not come as expected. It could come with a BUT.

People could start describing you with your circumstance. The water at Marah was provision. It was a blessing but because of its taste, no one saw that it was a blessing.
Even in the midst of provision you can still complain because you cannot see.
By the instruction of the Lord, Marah becomes sweet. The Lord is always ready to help if you ask for His help. You have to pray to hear His instructions. With the right instruction applied, bitterness can become sweetness. Obedience is not just enough but obeying with the right instruction.
Marah can be likened to anything negative. It could be a bad break, sickness, lack, denial, disappointment, setback, near success, shame, but with the right instruction followed obediently, every negativity can become positivity. After Marah becomes Sweet an ordinance comes. A law comes from God - A condition that if fulfilled brings the desired outcome.
After Marah, it is sweetness all the way. So do not be overwhelmed by that situation that is not working in your favour right now because sweetness is on the way. Excess provision abounds. After Marah, excess provision is inevitable.
Prayer Points:
- Father help me know when there is a provision with a BUT. Help me not complain in the midst of provision just because there is a BUT. Help me see You in every situation.
- Father help me not describe myself with what I'm going through. Lord may my circumstance not become my name.
- Father I know you're always looking to help me. Please open the ears of my spirit to hear your instructions. Shield me from familiar spirits that pose as You to bring wrong instructions. Help me obey You with the right instruction.
- Father help me to keep Your ordinances.
- Thank You Lord because I know that after Marah excess provision abounds for me.
