When You Cannot Trace God
Ruth 1:1-22, Psalm 88:14, Ruth 4:13-17
No matter how comfortable you are in life a time will come when you really need that higher hand to save and help you. But when you reach out to this higher hand all you feel is, "Nothing".
You are met with silence that is deafening. It seems God is far away in another country.
You think you will never make it out alive because the trouble has overwhelmed you.
You have become a write-off and have become a rejected.
You have prayed, cried, hoped, yet, Nothing is the response you get.
You want to give up.
In situations like this when you cannot trace God, trust Him. Trusting Him at the place where you are right now puts pressure on His integrity. God says, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
You may not know what He is up to as everything in your life has come to a standstill. Keep your trust in Him.
Just the same way a child trusts the father to be able to provide his needs, trust God this way and see Him come through for you.
Naomi is an example of one who couldn't trace God. She went to Moab complete but she returned home broken and empty.
Naomi saw no hope for tomorrow. She lost her husband and two sons. She couldn't trace God. The footprints of God were gone but there was a sign God was still walking... Ruth stayed.
At the end of the story we see how God restored Naomi through Ruth. God is good, He never sleeps or fails. Even in that silence, the confusion, trust God and see your testimony written over what looks like uncertainty.
See Ruth even in that confused and overwhelming circumstance.
God is making all things work for your good. He is always thinking about you.
Jer. 29:11
When you cannot trace God, trust Him.
