The Coin Called Life
Deuteronomy 30:15&19 Proverbs 18:21
Life is like a coin. There are two sides to it always. Heaven and hell, alive and dead, good and bad, mountain and valley, rich and poor, well and sick, fruitful and barren, joy and sadness, appointment and disappointment, knowledge and ignorance, fast and slow, forward and backward, and many others you can think of. There's no sitting on the fence. You are either here or there.
But we thank God for assuring us in His word in Proverbs 18:21 which says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
When you read Deuteronomy 30:15&19 you will see how life and good, and death and evil has been set before you and it is solely your decision to make whether to choose life or death.
Why not choose life so you will live.
Life does not just end here on earth and the verses above show us that a possibility exists in the kingdom where we can decide whether to live or die. Who wouldn't want that? But most of the time, because of our human nature which is so vulnerable, we tend to lazy around what has already been provided for us in the word of God. We are unskillful in the profession in which we have been called by God. We forget we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them; Ephesians 2:10.
You forget who you are. Will you ever remember?
I pray you do.
You allow the world choose for you. You place your destiny in the hands of the system you were born into, not taking into consideration why you are here and where you actually come from. You are not of this world. Why do you allow yourselves be conformed to it?
Our Father is such an awesome Father. He did not send us without a guide, like a manufacturer attaches a manual to his product, so has our Father left us a manual, a guide—The Holy Bible. I have never seen a book like it. It contains answers to the past, present and future and it speaks specifically every time to specific persons, in specific situations.
For me, the Bible is my map for life. When I need answers, I go to it and I get it.
Thy words were found and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts; Jeremiah 15:16
John 3:16 (KJV); For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
After giving us his son Jesus Christ who is the Word of God, he left us with His Spirit. What manner of love has He bestowed upon us. We don't deserve it but He loves us anyway.
My charge to you as you read, is to reflect on the love of God for you. He loves you like no man's business. He jealously guides and protects you, he left his abode to come dwell with you. Can you beat that?
How long will you reject Him? How long will you reject the one who loves you unconditionally? How long will you ignore the one who has, predestined, called, justified and glorified you?
Having Jesus is having life and I urge you to come to Him, choose Life by choosing God. He will give you rest from your struggles. He will show you how to approach life and win all the time.
Stop the struggle.
For starters, immerse yourself in the word of God, make the study of the Bible a daily habit. Find His thoughts concerning you for your day to day life. Yes! God thinks about you! Jeremiah 29:11
My Jesus says, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with Me; Revelation 3:20 (AMP)
Will you let him in or will you shut him out?
Here's a song I believe would bless you The Bill by GUC
