Wait for God

The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. Lamentations 3:25
Happy New Year my friend! Yes you. 
Are you looking for good this year? Sure you are and I have goodnews for you dear one. 

With the year running again to meet the last day of a cycle that just began, would you run with it in your own might and in your own strength? You could try but I have an assurance that you will grow weary doing that. Just give yourself until March and see how lightheaded and faint you will be. 

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
Can you see the above Bible verse is a list my friend. A list of goodies. A list of the highflyers, a list of the strong, a list of the mighty and I wonder why you choose to weary yourself out. 

Nevertheless, here is the goodnews; live out your year with God. There is nothing like it I promise you. My charge to you is to wait for the God of the universe this year. You have tried it your way so many of the years that have gone by and here you are again about to repeat that cycle you dread so much. You fear for the remaining months of the year. You fear the bills that are about piling up again, you fear job security and in your heart there are so many what if's. What if this happened? What if this went like this? What if that went like that? What if here didn't go there? What if there came here? What if upon what if. Haven't you compassed that mountain long enough? 

Could you just relax my friend. Could you just be you. Could you just be that sweet girl, that sweet boy that Abba loves. Could you just let the King of the universe be your Guide and your God through it all. Could you just let Him do His plan for you. Could you stop running before God and wait for Him instead. 

Bring yourself dear friend to the place of waiting. Waiting for God does not mean you do nothing. What it means is you seek out His will for you every day in whatever situation you find yourself. You seek out His voice concerning you. His voice is in His Word. Where the voice of God is, His presence is and where His presence is, there is fullness of joy. 

Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11

It's a list again my beloved.

Wait for your Father. Wait for God!

When You Cannot Trace God

But when you reach out to this higher hand all you feel is, "Nothing".  You are met with silence that is deafening. It seems God is far away in another country.  You think you will never make it out alive because the trouble has overwhelmed you. You have become a write-off and have become a rejected.  You have prayed, cried, hoped, yet, Nothing is the response you get.  You want to give up.
