The Latest Success Story

“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher.
“Vanity of vanities! All [that is done without God’s guidance] is vanity [futile, meaningless—a wisp of smoke, a vapor that vanishes, merely chasing the wind].”

All things are wearisome and all words are frail;
Man cannot express it.
The eye is not satisfied with seeing,
Nor is the ear filled with hearing. Ecclesiastes 1: 2,8 (AMP)

The above Bible verses are the very words of King Solomon who saw everything done on earth in his lifetime and his conclusion is that all is vanity. He saw all the sides you can think of.

14 I have seen all the works which have been done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity, a futile grasping and chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 1: 14 (AMP)

This thus, is a charge to chase things less and instead, chase God more, because only this will count after you are done here. God longs to be chased after, and you as a child of God should be responsible enough to go all out for your Father even more than you chase things that will only fade away. Things that will not stand the test of time.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19(KJV)

I would like to ask where the first shoe you ever bought with your money is? Where are those new clothes that have now gone out of trend? Why did you let go of your first phone? I could go on and on, but the point here is, there is an emptiness in man that only intimacy with God can fill. God is love yes. God is Abba, yes. God is a provider, yes. God is a forgiver, yes. But God is also the king. The King of kings who has sent us as ambassadors to the earth. Jesus having washed us from our sins in His own blood has made us kings and priests unto our God.

Why remain a baby when you can become a king? I know you want to be relevant but the only sure relevance is with God. Why not take up your responsibility as a king sent from heaven? A king sent to fulfill purpose or you just want to chase things and then go back home with nothing? Think about it beloved.

Day after day, the King of kings keeps calling. O! what a privilege!
Why not draw closer and search for Him like your life depends on it, because, it actually does. God whose name is Jealous calls out to you daily!

14 You must worship no other gods, for the Lord, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you. Exodus 34:14 (NLT)

Build a relationship with your God my friend, forget momentary relevance, and remember you are not of this world...

Dedicated to the body of Christ
