Master over chaos

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth Genesis 1:1
The Webster dictionary defines chaos as a state of utter confusion.
Sometimes you plan something out very carefully, thoughtfully, with contingency plans in place, yet it doesn't go your way. You are thrown into confusion without knowing the next step to take. You would start again if you could but everything seems so hopeless and directionless, you wonder if things will ever get better... There is chaos everywhere you turn.

Your life may look like chaos right now, it may seem without direction, scattered and disorganised but I bring to you the good news of the Master over chaos. The good news of the Holy Spirit of God.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters Genesis 1:2

Out of nothing He created something. Out of chaos He brought order.

When man fell he seemed irredeemable and the devil thought he had put man in detention forever, but the Chess Master beat him at his own game, hallelujah! He made an open show of the devil.

Years ago, I got home one day and met my clothes scattered all over the place. This scene could actually be likened to how my life was at that time. I looked at the floor and reflected on my life. I did not know where to start from. I wanted to organise, I wanted to be better, I wanted to move, but didn't know how. Moments later, I finally summoned courage and started arranging my room and was able to arrange it to an appreciable state. As I documented my thoughts and fears, and flipped to continue writing on the next page of my diary, I found 500 Naira on the page I was to write on. This was when it dawned on me that no situation is really hopeless. That 500 Naira was more than money for me, it was a symbol of hope, a sign that things would eventually get better. I was encouraged and I asked God to bring order to my life soon and today, though I am not the best my Creator wants me to be yet, but I am not who I used to be or where I used to be. Out of a horrible pit He lifted me. He has proven to me firsthand that He truly is the Lifter of men.

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD
Psalms 40:1-3

So dear friend, I urge you to allow the Spirit of God move upon that chaotic situation and watch Him bring order to your life because He is the master over chaos.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me Revelation 3:20

Psalms 40:5 says,

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
